You need:
- Glass Vase
- Flowers in various colors
- Candles
- Miniature Pumpkin
Directions:
- Arrange the vase on the Thanksgiving dinner table so that it is visible from all the corners of the room.
- Arrange the flowers of various shades to enhance the ambience.
- For ideal Thanksgiving atmosphere use Orange, white, and yellow flowers
- Place a matching colored candle beside the vase.
- Place a miniature pumpkin to add the finishing touches.
Colorful Turkey Decoration
You need:
- White construction paper
- Red construction paper
- Brown construction paper
- Yellow construction paper
- 2 Toilet paper tubes
- Black construction paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Glue
- Paintbrush
- Tempera paints or watercolor paints
- Stapler
Directions:
- Trace a child's hand on one piece of white construction paper to make turkey feathers.
- Cut out the pattern and paint the feathers with different colors of paints. Let the paint dry.
- Cut one of the toilet paper tubes in half.(1 piece)
- Cut out brown construction paper to fit around the two toilet paper tubes. Staple it on to the tubes.
- Staple the two tubes together - the shorter on top of the longer one.
- Using yellow construction paper cut out a beak and feet.
- Using red construction paper cut out a gobbler.
- Cut the eyes out of white and black construction paper.
- Attach the eyes, beak, feet, and gobbler to the tubes with glue.
- Feathers can be stapled to the back of the tubes.
